My name is Marilinda, founder of Roses and Wildflowers, a Latina owned small business based in Southern California. I began my soapmaking journey in 2022, driven by a deeply personal mission to create products that are gentle, thoughtful, and kind to sensitive skin.

Growing up, I struggled with extremely sensitive skin and frequent dryness that required ointments and medicated products. Later in life, I learned I have psoriasis. No matter the season, managing skin sensitivity has always been a challenge, and I know firsthand how frustrating it is to try product after product without relief from irritation.

When my daughter was born with very sensitive skin as well, my motivation grew even stronger. I wanted to find a better, gentler option for both of us - and that search led me to soapmaking.

What began with a simple handmade soap kit evolved into months of research, formulation, and exploring the distinctive benefits of nourishing oils. From that journey, Roses and Wildflowers was born.

My business is built on one core belief: skincare should feel comforting, not stressful. Every soap and product is handmade by me in small batches, never factory-made and never private labeled. I carefully choose environmentally and ethically conscious suppliers, because quality and responsibility matter.

Transparency is important to me. On this website, you can learn about every ingredient used in my products so you can feel confident in what you’re putting on your skin. Each bar is crafted with nourishing oils, attention to detail, and genuine care.
